The Fulton Falcon 4x400 relay team ran a team best 3:23.77 and edged Christian Academy of Knoxville 3:23.94 to take first place and win gold in the Class A/AA Tennessee State Track Championships at Middle Tennessee State University this past Friday.
The relay team was comprised of Juniors Marco Golliday, Antonio Barfield, Demarcus Harris and Sophomore Nick Bennett.
This was Fulton's first State Championship in Track since 2004 when Demarcus Stevens took gold in the 110 meter hurdles (14:53 seconds).
